The Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector (Central Department of Missions) and the French Embassy in Cairo announce (20) scholarships, jointly funded by the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the State of France

The Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector (Central Department of Missions) and the French Embassy in Cairo announce (20) scholarships, jointly funded by the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the State of France, for doctoral students for the academic year 2025/2026, as follows:
- (12) six-month scholarships for doctoral research
- (5) 12-month scholarships for doctoral research under a joint supervision system
- (3) 18-month scholarships under a joint supervision system
Research Areas:
All academic research areas are available, with priority given to the following:
- Information and Communications Technology (Artificial Intelligence, Computing, Robotics, Cybersecurity, and Communication)
- Environmental Sciences and Renewable Energy (Biology, Water and Waste Treatment, Biotechnology, Renewable Energy, Biodiversity, Climate Change and Its Impacts)
- Health Sciences (Biomedical Research, Nanotechnology, Advanced Biomedical Applications)
- Agriculture and Agri-Food
Social and Human Sciences: (Economics, Management, Archaeology, Linguistics, Education, Political Science, Law)
Note that applications for scholarships begin on June 17, 2025, and end on July 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
