Unit Vision
Implementing an evaluation system that contributes to the formation of a distinguished educational output capable of competing locally and regionally.

The establishment of the unit has been officially approved and documented, and its location has been designated (first floor – Library and Leather Industries Building). It has been equipped with furniture, computers, scanners, and a photocopier. The administrative board has been formed and documented by the Faculty Council Decision No. (384) dated 24/3/2010.

The Measurement and Evaluation Unit seeks to achieve the following:
- Provide faculty members and their assistants with effective assessment skills through specialized training programs.
- Prepare comprehensive assessment programs for components of the educational and research processes, contributing to achieving quality performance standards.
- Train faculty members to prepare question banks for the college's courses.
- Develop examination systems by establishing governing standards for the examination paper that align with the college's characteristics and take into account the college's general examination system.

The function of this committee is to coordinate the development of question banks for selected courses, ensure quality control in the creation process, and collaborate with the relevant administrative unit in the central office to implement this task.
As part of its institutional role and responsibilities, the unit has promoted awareness of different evaluation methods through the publication of guides and the organization of specialized workshops and training courses in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Center and the University’s Assessment and Evaluation Center (Question Bank System). The unit has also evaluated exam papers and prepared reports on the results for each program. The evaluation results were discussed in department meetings and shared with faculty members to benefit from the feedback and avoid previously identified weaknesses in the future.
