Office vision

The Office of International Students seeks to support the image of Helwan University at the Arab and international levels as an Egyptian university with a unique character, and to increase its competitiveness at the regional and international levels by making it a leading, distinguished, ambitious and reliable entity administratively, humanly and technologically within the system of the Faculty of Home Economics as one of the educational and research institutions affiliated with the university and accredited according to international quality standards.

Office mission

- The International Students Office at the College of Home Economics seeks to enhance the college's attractiveness by providing various services to international students, who, upon graduation, will become ambassadors for the college in their home countries.

- Helping international students adapt and acclimate to life in the college community and integrate into university life, thus enriching the college's student body.

Office objectives

The Office's Main Objectives:

- Supporting Helwan University's image as a unique Egyptian university.
- Promoting the importance of international students and their care within the college, among faculty members, administrators, and international students already enrolled at the college.
- Providing comprehensive care for international students within the college.
- Assisting in resolving academic problems.
- Informing students of their right to participate in various student activities at the university's faculties (University Organization Law and its Executive Regulations).

Office activities

1. Preparing lists and records of all incoming students across all academic levels (undergraduate and graduate).

2. Providing guidance on the various services (therapeutic and cultural) available to students within the university.

3. Familiarizing students with the activities offered by the college, such as arts, sports, and field trips, to encourage students to integrate with their peers.

4. Organizing an introductory meeting to welcome incoming students and introduce them to the college.

5. Organizing a day to honor outstanding incoming students and present certificates of appreciation.

6. Encouraging cultural dialogue between different nationalities through a cultural day.

7. Measuring incoming student satisfaction with the level of services provided by the college.

8. Providing feedback to the college administration on the extent of student satisfaction with the educational process.
