Mission of the Unit

THE TRAINING UNIT AT THE FACULTY OF HOME ECONOMICS – HELWAN UNIVERSITY AIMS TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT EFFECTIVE MECHANISMS THAT ENSURE THE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCE PERFORMANCE WITHIN THE INSTITUTION. IT SEEKS TO CONNECT THE INSTITUTION WITH THE COMMUNITY BY MEETING THE TRAINING NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE COLLEGE, WHILE ESTABLISHING A CLEAR MECHANISM FOR IMPACT MEASUREMENT AND CONTINUOUS FEEDBACK, ENABLING THE INSTITUTION TO COMPETE LOCALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY.

Objectives of the Unit

The Training Unit works to achieve the following objectives:

Establish and activate a system that ensures the periodic measurement and evaluation of the institution’s training needs and meeting them in a way that supports continuous institutional development.
Improve the efficiency of the institution’s human resources to perform their tasks effectively.
Design and implement training programs aimed at increasing the institution’s competitiveness.
Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of community and environmental services by providing training programs for community stakeholders.

Scope of Activity of the Training Unit

Scope of Activity of the Training Unit at the Faculty of Home Economics – Helwan University:

The scope of activity of the Training Unit at the Faculty of Home Economics – Helwan University is the development and enhancement of the skills and capabilities of all categories of human resources within the Faculty, including academic leaders, faculty members, administrative staff, students, and graduates.
The Unit also serves as a source of self-development for the Faculty by providing training services, as well as professional, scientific, and practical consultations to various community stakeholders.
