Mission

  • The College of Home Economics works to prepare distinguished graduates capable of competing in the job market in the fields of nutrition and food science, therapeutic nutrition, clothing and textiles, family and childhood institution management, educational home economics, and leather industries. This is achieved through advanced undergraduate and graduate programs governed by national standards.
  • Providing distinguished research services by providing an appropriate environment for conducting efficient scientific research.

  • Preparing home economics specialists qualified with theoretical foundations and practical methodologies, enabling them to compete globally in developing the field of home economics.
  • Conducting scientific and applied studies and research in the field of home economics that have a direct impact on integrated development, and establishing specialized research units in various branches.
  • Providing scientific and technical advice and assistance to organizations and entities that utilize home economics.
  • Raising and deepening awareness in the community about home economics.
  • Organizing conferences and holding scientific meetings with the aim of raising the educational level and deepening the scientific understanding among specialized personnel.
  • Concluding scientific agreements with similar bodies and institutions at the local, regional, and international levels for the purpose of scientific communication, exchanging views, and conducting research related to home economics specializations.
