IT Unit of the Faculty of Home Economics Holds Workshop on “How to Apply E-Marking for Examinations” within the Assessment and Evaluation Unit

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of examinations for the academic year 2025, the Information Technology Unit at the Faculty of Home Economics, Helwan University, organized a specialized workshop entitled “How to Apply E-Marking for Examinations.” The workshop was conducted at the Faculty’s Assessment and Evaluation Unit.
The session aimed to train faculty members and administrative staff on the effective use of electronic correction systems to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in the grading process. The workshop covered:
- Practical steps for conducting e-marking.
- Managing and reviewing digital exam sheets.
- Generating and analyzing result reports.
- Addressing key challenges and providing practical solutions.
The workshop concluded with an interactive discussion and Q&A session with participants, highlighting the importance of e-marking in modernizing the examination system.
This initiative reflects the Faculty’s and University’s strong commitment to digital transformation in higher education, raising the quality of academic assessment, and aligning with Helwan University’s vision of modernizing its educational and administrative systems.
