Under the Patronage of Prof. Dr. Enas Badr – Dean of the Faculty of Home Economics
On Sunday, March 9, 2025, the Faculty held a Forum on Promoting the Culture of Quality, attended by:
- Assoc. . Dr. Al-Nabawiya Abdel-Azeem – Director of the Quality Assurance Unit.
- Dr. Hoda Mohamed Shaaban – Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance Unit.
In her address, Prof. Dr. Enas Badr spoke about the concept of quality, its importance, and the notion of quality culture, highlighting the role of students in actively participating in quality-related activities.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Al-Nabawiya Abdel-Azeem presented an overview of the standards of educational quality, pointing out that the Faculty has already obtained academic accreditation.
Dr. Hoda Mohamed Shaaban outlined the vision and mission of the Faculty, stressing their importance and emphasizing that each student should also have a personal vision and mission. She further explained the student’s role in achieving quality and underscored the importance of seriously completing evaluation surveys, as they contribute to continuous improvement plans that enhance the educational process.
Following this, an introductory seminar was held on the Faculty’s Consulting Office, with contributions from:
- Ms. Danadia Hassan – Director of the Consulting Office.
- Prof. Dr. Weam Ali Amin.
- Dr. Nehal Akram.
The seminar introduced the objectives, significance, and role of the Consulting Office in assisting students with their challenges by providing various
consultations (family, clothing, nutritional, educational, etc.), thereby contributing to the enhancement of educational quality.
